2013 was a crazy year for fashion! So many celebrities played with their style and created new trends for shoppers everywhere. Our New York fashion photography team at Le Image Inc has created a list of the top 3 celebrity makeovers for 2013. It’s a perfect way to finish the year for fashion lovers everywhere!
1. Miley Cyrus– The “twerking” queen is the top of the list for biggest celebrity makeovers for 2013. The ex-Disney star shocked the world when she cut her hair short, started dressing in sexier outfits and displaying outrageous behaviors. Her controversial VMA performance in August is rumored to have cost her the cover of the December Vogue issue. Anna Wintour must not be fan. Controversial or not, Miley Cyrus has shocked the fashion world and has had her photo on the cover of several notable fashion magazines this year.
2. Kim Kardashian– Kim Kardashian is never one to shy away from the limelight and 2013 was certainly no different for the reality tv starlet. Her biggest makeover yet started this year after she became pregnant with Kanye West’s child. She received a lot of criticism for the amount of pregnancy weight she gained and the tight couture outfits she wore during her pregnancy. After the birth of Kim and Kanye’s daughter, North West, Kim changed her look again. She continued her newfound love of haute couture and bleached her brunette locks blonde. Her new hairstyle has already become one of the most desired looks at salons everywhere.
3. Beyonce & Jennifer Lawrence- The third biggest celebrity makeover for the year is a tie between singer, Beyonce Knowles and actress, Jennifer Lawrence. Both celebrities cut their long hair for shorter styles. The Hunger Games actress chopped her blonder hair into a versatile pixie cut. Although the reception to her shorter hairstyle has been polarizing, we’ve seen an increase in pixie cuts this year. Baywatch star, Pamela Anderson, even got a pixie cut in 2013! Beyonce also got a pixie cut but soon grew it out into a stylish bob haircut. Her original pixie cut photo on Instagram was wildly popular and reblogged, receiving thousands and thousands of views.
