Very similar (but not as busy) as the Conservatory Garden in Central Park, Cross Estates Garden offers manicured gardens, historic buildings and beautiful blooms for your engagement photos. Our photographers love capturing outdoor engagement photos in locations like the Cross Estates Garden thanks to the various backgrounds and natural lighting offered at the garden. Part of the Morristown National Historical Park, Cross Estates Garden is free to the public and doesn’t require a special photography permit like some estates. Brooklyn neighborhood, “Dumbo” (which is short for Down Under the Manhattan Bride Overpass), has become one of the most visited spots in the borough. From intimate elopement ceremonies at Pebble Beach (leave your speedo at home, this “beach” doesn’t allow swimming) to cute “Save the Date” engagement photos on the cobblestone streets, Dumbo is the perfect choice for your next shoot. If you and your fiance’ are still looking for a venue, we recommend checking out 26 Bridge which is only a few blocks away and offers a rustic raw space for weddings and events. The area is also undergoing huge renovations and has welcomed major retail chains like West Elm and the popular burger haven, Shake Shack, so be sure to hang out after your shoot for some shopping and a bite to eat!

Fort Greene Park is a favorite amongst our engagement couples and our photographers love shooting in the beautiful Brooklyn-based public park.
