Brooklyn Botanical Garden Wedding
Couple, Martine and Dan, had the loveliest wedding last October at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Le Image had the great honor of photographing and filming this New York couple’s wedding. Our fall bride met her groom when they were both living Los Angeles. Dan was working in fashion and Martine was pursuing an acting career and waiting tables at the trendy Luxe Hotel on Rodeo Drive. After a few months, when the two both happened to be single, they begin talking and their relationship began.
Le Image truly enjoys working on weddings that have such calm and collected brides, like Martine. Perhaps it was Martine’s belief in “..forces more powerful than us” that helped her embrace the chaos that usually surrounds wedding planning. Although she is not fanatical in her astrology beliefs, she had a trusted astrologer do a chart for her and her husband to find the best day for them to wed. This could be a fun activity for all you brides and grooms to be: going to an astrologer together, even if you don’t believe in it.
As soon as the date was set, Martine and Dan knew they wanted a Brooklyn Botanical Garden’s wedding. Dan had always dreamed of marrying at the Brooklyn landmark and when they talked to the coordinator, Leigh, she helped them plan the perfect wedding ceremony. The wedding reception was equally as beautiful as the ceremony, with the wedding reception held at the Palm House at the gardens, with catering provided by the outstanding Charles Sally Charles.
Although Le Image Inc. was brought in last minute as the wedding photographer and videographer, we truly got some great wedding photos. Martine was nervous about us photographing her as she was preparing in the morning since she had such a sleepless night beforehand. The images turned out beautifully and her happiness truly shined through in the photos. We are so grateful that Martine and Dan chose us as their wedding photographers for their special day. It was a wonderful experience shooting such an in love couple at wedding venue as beautiful as the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. We congratulated them and wish them years and years of happiness to come!
