Brooklyn Botanic Garden Engagement
More from our brides:
….Vicky was more of a jock and hung out with all the athletes meanwhile I was more of the prissy girl who got her nails done every week. Then one day at practice I wore this perfume I stole from my sister – Flowerbomb by Viktor&Rolf and I guess the smell of it compelled Vicky to come over to me…..Honestly it was as if Cupid just shot an arrow in our backs, because from that day on we were inseparable. Our story is definitely about a spontaneously love that grew and grew throughout the years. That was seven years ago and to this day I still wear that perfume. ……Le image has been so great to us! Whatever question we throw at them, they always have an answer. Their assistance is impeccable, they always give us the feeling that they’re right there ready to help , which is what every bride needs! We are so satisfied with our engagement pictures and the staff at Le Image Inc ! ”
Our photographers love shooting engagement sessions. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the couple and their individual love story in a casual and unrushed manner (a luxury most wedding day timelines don’t allow) For the couple, it’s an excellent way to get some practice in front of the camera before the big day and score some fun and romantic pre-matrimonial photos.
Constantina & Victoria, a beautiful and vivacious same sex couple, recently joined the Le Image family and we had a blast shooting their Brooklyn Botanical Garden engagement session!
Located near the populous Park Slope and Prospect Heights area, the garden is available to couples for engagement and/or wedding photos. Be sure to check their website for the details as there is a non refundable fee and it’s reserved on a first come first serve basis. In our opinion the process and fee is totally worth it! Once inside you are transported into an urban oasis with access to over thirteen (13) gardens (the Japanese Garden is a must see) , Conservatories (check out the Tropical Pavilion) and several rotating collections and features!
“Tina” (as she is affectionately known to her friends) and Victoria strolled through the various gardens and were welcomed with perfect weather for their engagement shoot. We love the fun and romantic chemistry between these two! They went to the same high school and met through their mutual love for baseball! (Tina’s signature scent “flowerbomb” by Viktor & Rolf caught Victoria’s attention!)
Having fun with one other and letting your natural chemistry shine through will guarantee amazing photos. Our future brides stated it best…“Our advice to other couples during their engagement shoot is to keep it natural, make each other laugh! Those type of pictures are priceless. You don’t want to look so posed , instead we think natural and relaxed is the way to go. Another tip is to incorporate something in the shoot that incorporates your relationship, that way you guys make it special and one-of-a-kind !”
Tina & Victoria are planning to wed at Giando’s on the Water this summer. A beautiful waterside Brooklyn wedding venue, our photographers can’t wait to be a part of their special day!
