Denise and Paulino
We met this adorable couple through our friend, planner Teriann at Dream Plan-It Events. Her clients were seeking a photography and video package to capture their big day. They planned to get hitched at Long Island City wedding venue, The Metropolitan Building. Having shot here before, our team was excited to return to this unique space.
The couple got ready at the venue and had their first look on the 2nd floor. The venue features 12-foot ceilings and is flooded with natural light, perfect for photography! Denise was beautiful in a long sleeved lace-wedding gown, and Paulino sported a black tuxedo and bow tie. The biracial couple (the bride is African American and her groom is of Asian descent) utilized the venue’s prop floor for intimate portraits before their ceremony.
They exchanged vows amongst family and friends under a dimmed chandelier and were pronounced husband and wife. The reception room was decorated beautifully with vintage pieces from the Building’s collection and adorned with flickering candles (very romantic!)
The Bride and Groom danced the night away and enjoyed touching speeches from their guests.
We love how their wedding trailer turned out and feel it beautifully captures the special love between them.
We wish the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness!
