New York City is home to some of the best restaurants in the world, so being able to open and maintain a successful restaurant for the last 30 years in NYC speaks for itself ! It’s not rare to see the owners of Giando on the Water walking around and interacting with couples and their guests to make sure ever detail is being taken care of! As a matter of fact, every staff member at Giando is dedicated to providing top-notch service to each and every guest. Joe (the event manager at Giando) is always happy to answer any questions you have and knows the space and wedding packages like the back of his hand! Our photographers and videographers have said they receive such great treatment at Giando on the Water that they feel like wedding guest themselves! The great news is Giando on the Water is actually very affordable in comparison to other wedding venues in NYC and they work closely with every couple to create a wedding package that will fit into their budget. From off-season wedding discounts to brunch and/or buffet options, Giando wants to make sure you are getting everything you want on your big day at a price you can afford. Since Giando on the Water is a restaurant, couples don’t have the extra expense of table settings and linens etc and thanks to that view (more about that later) decorations can be kept to a minimum since most of your guests will be star gazing anyway!
Setting
Giando on the Water offers several spaces for your wedding day celebration. The back patio which sits right on the East River is perfect for your wedding ceremony (the sunsets are spectacular) followed by cocktail hour. Inside the lobby of the Brooklyn wedding venue, you and your guests are treated to beautiful dark wood staircases and elegantly appointed bathrooms that make you feel like you are in a 5-star Manhattan hotel! The upstairs ballroom features floor to ceiling that bring in the natural sunlight ( a photographers dream come true!) The décor of the ballroom features sparkling chandeliers and marble floors, round tables and elegant gold chairs..the space itself is beautiful alone but also works perfectly with any wedding color scheme! The top floor of the wedding venue is home to the Bridal Suite so Brides can finish getting ready on site..

Nestled on the East River, Giando’s guest enjoy unobstructed views of downtown Manhattan and the Wiliamsburg bridge whether outdoors on the patio or inside the venue in their reception room. While the day view is amazing, the real magic happens at night when the sunsets (talk about breathtaking!) and the skyline and bridge light up! The view is so great that you might have a hard time luring your guests away from the windows and to the dance floor (that’s where your DJ comes in )..seriously though, even if Giando didn’t have top notch service elegant décor and award wining cuisine (which they do!) the view alone would be enough to make you book this amazing waterfront wedding venue!
