Test shoots fuel the fashion industry in NYC. A mutually beneficial arrangement; photographers, makeup artist and stylist get to explore new and creative ideas while the models have a chance to build their portfolio and practice posing techniques. It’s a “win-win” for everyone involved. Our Brooklyn photo studio provides test shoots for hundreds of beautiful models and artist every year. From the novice to the veteran, our fashion photographers love to capture their unique beauty and help them to further develop their skills.

Brazilian model Marina Albino, was signed by two of the cities top modeling agencies; Way Models and Trump Model Management; less than a month after arriving in NYC. Our fashion photographer test shot with the fresh model in Le Image’s Brooklyn studio and took a different approach utilizing medium format film and Polaroid.

Our photographers were thrilled to do a test shoot with the daughter of supermodel, Christie Brinkley in our Brooklyn studio. Sailor Brinkley-Cook has a classic girl next door look that translated well in front of the camera. This NYC teen is well on her way to following in her mother’s successful footsteps!

IMG Models never disappoints and sent over their newest addition, Katherine
Kuhl to our Brooklyn studio for our latest fashion shoot. Once again utilizing medium format film, the photos have a three dimensional depth that digital doesn’t offer. Playing off her youthful appearance, our photographer instructed the glam team to style this young beauty in edgy leather jackets and bright geometric patterns.

This model/actor of New York Model Management, Justin Shaw was a pleasure to shoot and offered our NYC studio team a change of scenery from shooting female models. Our photographer played with various color combinations in post production and really showcased Justin’s amazing physique.

This international fashion model speaks several languages and is represented by Storm Models in London and New York Models here in the states. Our photographer shot in black and white film and played with the shadows and industrial setting of our Dumbo photo studio to capture Andrew Hulme.

Our photographers took it to the streets of Dumbo, Brooklyn for the test shoot of Frederikke Olesen of New York Models. We love the urban and gritty feel of the NYC streets and the natural sunlight that offered a beautiful aesthetic depth to the film.

This edgy model fit right in at our hip NYC studio. A lover of music, Silent Model, Dorith Mous, explained to our photographers how important it is to stay grounded in the sometimes crazy world of fashion. Our team stayed true to her personal style and dressed her in black designer labels for this test shoot.

This German born model never thought she was pretty enough for the fashion industry. Boy was she wrong! Her natural beauty is perfectly portrayed in our fashion test shoot and video. Our photography and video team shot the bubbly model in our beautiful Brooklyn, NY studio.

Test Shot on the streets of Dumbo, Brooklyn, our photographers loved the edgy yet natural look that our latest color concepts portrayed. Styled in casual pieces Ford Model, Kate embodied the hip New Yorker attitude perfectly!

The weather this summer was great and has kept our photography team outdoors for test shooting! Kayla of Ford Models, photographed beautifully in the industrial setting of Dumbo, Brooklyn. We continued to utilize our exclusive color treatments to give this test shoot a unique look.

Back in our NYC studio, we had the pleasure of shooting Ford Model, Heather. Our photographers continued to have fun with blue hues and shadows for this test shoot. The styling and makeup was kept to a minimum to showcase this model’s natural beauty.
