Bethesda Terrace and Fountain
One of the first structures built in Central Park, Bethesda Terrace offers breathtaking architectural detailing and shelter in case of rain or snow on your big day. During the summer months, the area is bustling with tourist and performing artist (the acoustics under the terrace are amazing) and is right next to the beautiful Bethesda Fountain. The fountain is over 25 feet high and features a famous sculpture of an Angel blessing the waters (Angel of the Water). The terrace and fountain overlook the Lake and is easily accessible from both the east and west sides of the park from 72nd street. Our elopement photographers love shooting here and the permit fee is included in our elopement packages. This beautiful location is certainly worth considering for your Central Park elopement!
