Texan’s believe in doing it big, and this adorable couple, Christine and Cody were no exception. All the way from Houston, the pair (and a few of their buddies) came to the Big Apple to elope in the biggest park in the city; Central Park.
They contacted our studio seeking a package that would allow them to basically just show up! Our all inclusive elopement packages do just that. Once you secure your marriage license from City Hall, you are all set. We provide an Officiant (registered in the state of NY to perform legal ceremonies), the photographer and videographer, permit for securing the location in Central Park and even give you a printing credit for cards to announce your marriage to family and friends.
Thanks to the warm weather we experienced this year, this fall wedding felt more like a summer celebration. The couple chose Shakespeare Garden; four acres of landscape named of course after the English poet and playwright. The couple started in the garden with a first look and portraits.
We absolutely LOVE the brides blush pink strapless dress with cascading ruffles! This is our second bride who chose the beautiful color for her gown and we think it’s a winner! Her bridal bouquet was just as unique. Made with an array of wild flowers it really pulled the whole look together. The Groom complemented his bride’s style with a black tux, long hair and piano inspired tie.
They exchanged personal vows in the garden as their best friend performed an acoustic version of Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive” and Cody serenaded his bride. Afterwards they changed into their personalized converse (check out the coordinating pink strips) and visited several iconic locations within the park for portraits including the Alice in Wonderland sculpture.
This central park elopement was perfect and we love this couple’s eclectic style. We encourage every couple to remember, weddings are is all about celebrating what makes you unique as individuals and as a couple. So why not, ride a ski lift to the top of a summit in your gown to exchange vows, have your wedding party knight you with Star Wars inspired light sabers or get hitched in the shadow of Lady Liberty before dancing the night away on a Yacht; whatever your style, be sure to let it shine through.. and don’t forget to call us to capture every moment!
