Cross Estate Gardens

If formal gardens and wisteria- covered pergolas are your thing, then Cross Estates Garden in NJ may be the perfect engagement shoot location for you! Very similar (but not as busy) as the Conservatory Garden in Central Park, Cross Estates Garden offers manicured gardens, historic buildings and beautiful blooms for your engagement photos. Our photographers love capturing outdoor engagement photos in locations like the Cross Estates Garden thanks to the various backgrounds and natural lighting offered at the garden. Part of the Morristown National Historical Park, Cross Estates Garden is free to the public and doesn’t require a special photography permit like some estates. Make a day out of it and bring lunch to enjoy a romantic picnic with your fiance after your engagement photo session (also a great engagement photo idea!)

Evamarie and Tyler’s romantic engagement photos at Cross Estate Gardens may have you hopping on the next NJ transit train to go check out this gorgeous park! The serene location in New Jersey was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of NYC and provided a beautiful backdrop for the happy couple’s engagement photos. The pair plan to get married in Brooklyn and wanted to celebrate their upcoming wedding day and get great photos for their save the dates. The weather was perfect and our photographer captured great photos of the two strolling through the park. They booked our 2 hour engagement photo package and had time to change outfits so they could mix casual and fun (they wore jeans and plaid in the first hour) and romantic and flirty (they later changed to a flowy dress and a button down for Tyler) in the second hour.
