Fort Tryon Park

A city, state and nationally landmarked park, Fort Tryon Park offers patrons 67 acres of beautiful gardens, lawns, pathways, playgrounds and breathtaking views of the Palisades and lower Hudson Valley. The park is the perfect elopement location for couples who don’t mind traveling further uptown to the Inwood section of Northern Manhattan. There are several quaint restaurants nearby with views of the water for your intimate reception after your ceremony, whether it’s just you and your new spouse or a full wedding guest list in tow. Our photographers love capturing wedding photos here, and have also shot engagement sessions in Fort Tryon Park. Fortunately the NYC Parks Department only charges $25 for a permit to elope at Fort Tryon, so that also makes it a great affordable option for couples planning a budget wedding.
