Gantry Plaza State Park

This beautiful Long Island City park is one of the best New York engagement photo locations. Our photographers have worked here several times for engagement shoots. If you are looking for places to take wedding pictures in NYC, it’s close to several Queens wedding venues and guarantees amazing photography! The waterfront park offers unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline and an industrial setting as well offering diversity for your photos. Thanks to the development of LIC the park is a quick train ride from Grand Central. It’s also a great choice for couples who want sunset photos (we suggest our affordable 2-hour package).

Our engagement photographer had a great time working with Chrstine & Justin for their sunset engagement photo shoot. They chose Gantry Plaza State Park because of the stunning views of the NYC skyline and its waterfront location. The adorable pair plan to exchange vows next year at one of our favorite Brooklyn wedding venues, Giando on the Water which also offers a beautiful waterfront view (see a theme?). If you are looking for a romantic engagement photo location in NYC, look no further than Long Island City’s Gantry Plaza State Park. The waterfront public park offers a boardwalk, amazing NYC skyline views on the water and fun industrial elements like the Long Island Sign painted on the restored gantries (formerly used to load and unload boats!). Julian and Leslie chose the historic location for their fun engagement photoshoot and we love the way the photos came out!
