Located in Brooklyn NY, 501 Union offers a stylish space for private events. Formally a classic car restoration shop, couples seeking a unique wedding venue can enjoy three distinct spaces; an open-air courtyard, an elegant cocktail lounge and a reception hall featuring a vaulted skylight. Offering industrial chic décor with a touch of glamour, 501 Union is a member of the Gowanus Hospitality Group, which also owns and operates The Green Building and Sky Gallery (directly across the street).

Perfect for midsize to large weddings, the space can accommodate up to 299 guests for a cocktail party and 160 for a seated reception. The venue allows couples to choose their own caterer making their wedding package prices fully customizable based on each clients’ needs.

Our photographer always have a great time shooting at this Brooklyn venue. 501 Union (as well as The Green Building) are part of the Gowanus Hospitality Group. A company comprised of several Brooklyn-based event venues offering couples unique spaces for their weddings. Esha & Cole’s spring wedding included an outdoor ceremony in the garden of the venue, followed by a rustic reception filled with great speeches and an Indian dance that got the party started. 501 Brooklyn wedding venue offers the perfect space for your wedding day celebration in the Gowanus section of the hip borough. This adorable couple Mika and Kamau hosted their American and African fusion wedding at the unique Brooklyn wedding venue and their wedding photos at 501 Union came out perfect! Our videographer captured great footage of them getting ready at the nearby Nu Hotel and their romantic ceremony followed by traditional African dances at their reception..
