Lori and Lawrence
Lori & Lawrence contacted our studio seeking a 2-photographer package for their wedding day and an engagement shoot. They were planning a fall wedding at Bryant Park Grill and wanted a team that had shot at their venue before.
Our photographers love shooting in midtown. Perfect for couples who want to celebrate their love for NYC and showcase an urban setting in their photos. Bryant Park Grill offers the perfect combination of romance and “city setting” for modern weddings.
The biracial couple stuck with the “Bryant Park theme” (and saved on limos) by staying in the Bryant Park Hotel directly across the street where our team started with the pair as they prepped for their ceremony.
Lori was stunning in a white gown with sweetheart neckline and veil, while Lawrence wore a three-piece grey tuxedo and bowtie. They opted for a first look on the steps of the 5th avenue New York Public Library, (you’ve probably seen the famous Lions that guard the entrance in movies like Spiderman, Sex and the City and Breakfast at Tiffany’s). The architecture of the library photographs beautifully and the couple didn’t seem to mind the tourist that photo-bombed some their pics! (Some sailors even stopped by for a portrait!)
The wedding party joined Lori & Lawrence for some fun photos in the park on the French inspired carousel before everyone headed over to the Grill for their outdoor ceremony.
Deciding whether or not to include children in your wedding celebration can be a tough choice. These newlyweds clearly made the right choice and gained a ton of adorable photos from their younger guests. A great idea for shy flower girls or ring bearers that may be startled by all the attention of walking down the aisle, the couple incorporated a wagon into their procession (that later doubled as a bassinet for sleepy guests) to keep everything moving smoothly.
After the ceremony everyone headed inside for a dance-filled reception that included passed appetizers, and 3-tier wedding cake. We had a blasts sharing in their big day and wish them a lifetime of happiness!
