Staten Island is home to several beautiful wedding venues. The borough offers beautiful views of New Jersey and the New York City harbor. Casa Belvedere (which means house with a beautiful view in Italian) is a historic landmark and Italian Cultural Foundation, offering the public education classes about Italian culture and also opens its’ door for private events. Our recent clients Jennifer and Robert, also Staten Island residents chose the villa to celebrate their wedding day. Our photographers had a great time working with the adorable couple and was impressed with the venue as well. Check it out!
When Jennifer and Robert came to our Brooklyn studio to meet their photographer, the beautiful Bride made it clear that she wanted her big day to be fuss free and full of good times. She would get ready at home with her children, do a first look with her hubby in a nearby park and head over to the venue for their outdoor ceremony and reception. Having realistic expectations for your wedding day and working closely with your photography team to create a timeline is a great way to make sure your day goes perfectly!
The day of our photographer crossed the Verrazano Bridge and started at the Bride’s home to capture the family getting ready for the big day. The Groom and his sons all dressed in grey suits and waited in the nearby park for Jennifer.
She wore a off the shoulder gown that fit her perfectly. Her hair was left down, styled in waves and topped with a veil. After their first look the family headed over the to venue. We absolutely love the beautiful architecture of the villa. The gold and white accents in the reception rooms create an elegant atmosphere. The main room also features a crystal chandelier and fire place surrounded with marble. The tables were decorated with fresh flowers and candle votives.
The ceremony took place outdoors on the grounds of the venue. The guests sat under a tent with a white aisle that lead to the fabric draped canopy that featured beautiful floral arrangements that coordinated with the brides’ bouquet.
The two exchanged vows and were pronounced Husband and Wife. After wards everyone headed inside. The newlyweds had their first dance and enjoyed touching speeches and well wishes from their family and friends. Everyone had a blasts and we were honored to be a part of it all.
