Tiffany and Romando
Before you give up on the idea of a destination wedding because of all the cost involved with flights, hotel stays and travel, take a look at this beautiful venue located only 1 hour from the city. Crest Hollow Country club offers the “destination feel” without the hassle. Outdoor ceremony space, poolside party space and beautiful lush gardens are available to couples for their big day. Our photography and video team have shot here before and were delighted to return.
Tiffany and Romando, both NY Police officers, hired our team to capture their Long Island wedding. They wanted edited photos and raw video footage(great option when you are not sure about adding videography to your wedding package) for their big day.
We started with the beautiful Bride at the Huntington Hilton in Melville, NY as she got ready. Tiffany chose 3 wedding gowns for each part of her day. (check out that glamorous bridal robe!) Her hair was styled in romantic waves and topped with a crystal headpiece.
A big concern amongst our African American brides has been the process for the color correction. Being able to properly balance the colors in the photos to emphasize their beautiful brown complexion without over exposing the white gowns and accessories takes a skilled editor, and we think our team got it just right! She looks stunning! Her bridesmaids helped her get into her first dress before heading out to the limo for the venue.
Romando awaited his bride at Crest Hollow for their first look. He wore a sharp white tuxedo with black trim and bow tie. They met in the garden for their reveal and took some time to snap a few portraits before getting ready for the ceremony.
The aisle was decorated with beautiful white roses that matched Tiffany’s cascading bridal bouquet. The newlyweds exchanged vows under an arch as their friends and family cheered them on. After wards everyone headed inside for cocktail hour.
The inside of the reception room continued the tropical theme from outdoors with elegant tall floral centerpieces and white linens. Tiffany and Romando’s 3-tiered cake was also decorated in beautiful flowers. They also included fun favors with handcuffs and police accessories which everyone loved!
The party went well into the night and included an outfit change for the Bride into a white pant suit, touching speeches and of course the bouquet toss (she substituted her gorgeous bouquet with a single rose for the toss).
We had a blast working with this couple and wish them a lifetime of happiness!
