One of the most affordable wedding venues in Queens, Flushing Town Hall was the perfect venue choice for Ilona & Manny’s big day. Our photographers and video team joined captured the couples’ fun getting ready photos followed by a romantic portrait shoot in Kissena Park. Their outdoor ceremony was hosted in the garden of the historic wedding venue, which can be rented separately or combined with the theater for a large reception . You got the ring and set a date…now it’s time to let the guests know. As a courtesy it’s recommended to send your “Save the Dates” out about 4-6 months before your wedding. If you are planning a destination wedding that requires booking of flights, hotel etc., 8 months is the general rule. Followed by the official invitation about two months before with more details. Unfortunately, outside of those two “head ups” wedding guests are typically left in the dark regarding most of the wedding details until the day of. However there are a few additional details you should consider sharing to help your invitees get ready for your big day.
