Margaret Ann and Chris
Since the opening of Barclays Center (home to the Brooklyn Jets) and the revitalization of Dumbo (a trendy neighborhood with cobblestoned streets under the Brooklyn Bridge) thousands of NYC residents have made the move out of the Manhattan to relocate to this up and coming borough. It’s no wonder that more and more engaged couples are choosing to host their weddings here as well.
Our photography and video team have had the pleasure of shooting at many of the event spaces here and the amazing photos and wedding videos are proof that these couples are making the right choice!
We started with the couple at the Best Western Gregory as they got ready. Margaret Ann chose a beautiful bouquet of tulips and roses in pastel tones of peach and ivory. Her off- the-shoulder figure flattering gown was embroidered with lace and crystals and featured a layered train. Her hair was styled in a classic updo topped with a tiara and cathedral length train. Her groom looked great as well in a grey tuxedo with suspenders and ivory colored tie.
Their ceremony took place at St. Mark’s Catholic church and included speeches from the family before the two were pronounced Husband and Wife. Afterwards our team headed over to the boardwalk of Coney Island with the newlyweds for wedding party photos while the reception room was set up at Gargiulos.
We love the escort card table featuring wedding photos from the Bride and Groom’s family! The venue was decorated elegantly in all white linens and floral centerpieces. Their cake (which was delicious) was a 3-tiered creation with edible flowers. The live band kept the party going late into the night and everyone had a blast celebrating with the newlyweds. Our team was so honored to be a part of it all and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!
