The second largest park in Brooklyn, Prospect Park attracts thousands of New Yorkers as well as tourists every year. And thanks to the Prospect Park Picnic House wedding venue, many of those visitors are happy Bride and Grooms like Elizabeth and Matthew. Our photographer had a great time working with the adorable couple for their wedding day which started with getting ready photos at the couple’s home. Prospect Park provided the perfect backdrop for their fall wedding photos. The venue was decorated with beautiful fresh flowers on each table and cute photos of the pair on the mantle of the fireplace. We loved the unique table numbers named after Brooklyn neighborhoods like Red Hook and Dumbo (home to another popular wedding location, Brooklyn Bridge Park). The couple originally planned to have their wedding on New Years Eve but due to covid restrictions they had to reschedule, but that didn’t keep their guest from partying like it was a new year and they even wore New Years Eve hats!
