Smack Mellon is a beautiful industrial wedding venue in the Dumbo section of Brooklyn, NY.
Across the street from the Brooklyn Bridge Park, the unique Brooklyn wedding venue offers dramatic architecture in a renovated boiler building with 35 foot soaring ceilings, original wood beams and floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the waterfront view and NYC skyline! Our photographers and video team have captured beautiful wedding photos and video at Smack Mellon and always love working in the Dumbo area. One subway stop from Manhattan, Smack Mellon is easily accessible from other parts of NYC and sits between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. Former Dumbo residents ourselves our photography studio certainly understands the attachment Brooklyn residents (and other New Yorkers) have with this nostalgic area. Boosting cobble stone streets that thankfully have not been paved over, amazing views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges, quaint coffee shops like Brooklyn Roast and several hip wedding venues; its no wonder engaged couples seeking a hip wedding venue and picture perfect background are flocking here!
