Nora and Nick
Nora and Nick didn’t follow the traditional wedding day schedule. They wanted to spend some time alone before the festivities of the day began so they had our photographer start at Brooklyn Bridge Park to capture their first look. The couple then took a leisurely stroll together and captured intimate portraits along the water.
We loved the personal touches the couple incorporated into their photography like the wedding parasol. Adding in props and personal artifacts is a great way to make sure your wedding day photos are unique and fun!
Nora looked beautiful in an elegant strapless gown with long lace train, while her groom Nick sported white linen paints and vest and a checkered blue shirt with an orange tie for a pop of color (this coordinated perfectly with the ribbons on their wedding arch)
Smack Mellon is a unique event venue offering beautiful architectural elements. The perfect choice for couples seeking that “whoa factor” without being too stuffy! Nora and Nick’s ceremony took place in the venue’s gallery beneath 35-foot high ceilings and surrounded by wood beams and bricked walls. They exchanged personal vows before their closes family and friends before heading back out to the park for sunset portraits.
Everyone had a blasts and our photography team really enjoyed capturing this laid back wedding. We wish them the best of luck!
