Young and Hyojin
Our wedding photography team loves shooting in raw spaces! The exposed brick, beautiful architecture and natural lighting offer the perfect backdrop for photos. The Foundry offers all of this and more! A 19th century building located in the Long Island City section of Queens, the venue offers an outdoor courtyard, rooftop terrace and even an indoor greenhouse for couples who want a mixture of industrial and outdoor setting. Young and Hyojin hired our studio to capture their special day at the venue.
We started with the Groom as he awaited his Bride. He looked great in a white button down shirt with black bow tie and suspenders. The happy couple offered their guests adorable lottery ticket favors in a paper bag stamped with the phrase “Lucky in Love” and their wedding date (what a great idea!) . Hyojin and his groomsmen hung out at the bar and shared a few laughs while Young finished getting ready.
The beautiful Asian Bride wore a strapless gown with beading and full skirt. We loved her sparkly nail polish and colorful wedding bouquet of assorted wild flowers.
The couple had their first look in the green room before the ceremony (great way to be able to enjoy your cocktail hour!) Their wedding party joined them for more photos as well. The bridesmaids were beautiful in pastel pink dresses and complimented the groomsmen black tuxedos perfectly.
Their reception room was set up with several long tables and decorated with simple floral centerpieces and tall candles. The family and friends enjoyed passed appetizers during cocktail and the couple got the party going with their first dance.
Everyone had a blast and we were honored to be a part of it all!
