Nino and Otari
This adorable young couple contacted our studio seeking a photography and video package to capture their wedding day. They were planning two ceremonies, portraits throughout Brooklyn and a reception celebration in New Rochelle at The Surf Club on the Sound. They wanted their wedding photography and video to capture their Georgian heritage and reflect the love they shared as a couple and family.
Our team started with the couple as they got ready at home. The Bride was stunning in a mermaid-style wedding gown with a crystal-embellished bodice. She styled her hair in romantic curls topped with a tiara and veil. Her groom looked great in a black tuxedo and bow tie. The wedding party coordinated with the couple in blue bridesmaids dresses and ties.
Their first ceremony took place at Saint Mary’s Nativity Georgian Church in Brooklyn. Only their immediate family and wedding party attended as the newlyweds performed the required rituals of their Christian orthodox faith and were pronounced husband and wife! Afterwards they headed to Brooklyn Bridge Park for portraits as the sun was setting.
The Surf Club is a quick ride from Manhattan and Brooklyn but offers a serene “destination beach wedding” atmosphere. At night the venue is illuminated with lights and the beach is the perfect location for an evening outdoor ceremony. For their second ceremony a family friend officiated and guests who were not able to attend the first ceremony shared in their union.
The venue outdid themselves and prepared a feast for the guests to enjoy at the reception. The night was filled with live music performances, traditional dances and touching speeches.
Our team was honored to be a part of this love story and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!
