Rachel and Ross
We started with the Bride and Groom as they got ready at The Roger Hotel on Madison Avenue. A popular wedding day tradition, the soon-to-be newlyweds wrote each other love notes expressing their excitement and anticipation about the big day. Rachel chose a beautiful ivory wedding gown with crystal embellishment. Her bridal bouquet was a mixture of wild flowers in hues of yellow, purple and green. Ross looked great in a grey suit with bow tie and boutonniere to match Rachel’s flowers. Once they were ready, our team captured their first look on the terrace before heading out with the wedding party for portraits at Madison Square Park. After wards, the couple reserved pedicabs from the park to ride over to the venue with the groomsmen and bridesmaids, what a great idea!
The ceremony and reception were taking place at The Water Club and our second photographer captured details shots of the venue before everyone arrived. The ceremony space was set up on the second level and the aisle was decorated with small vases of wild flowers and candles .The rustic Chuppah was adorned with twigs and flowers and set up in front of a window outfitted with lace curtains.
The Brides’ parents walked her down the aisle as Ross awaited her. They were married in a beautiful Jewish ceremony and broke the glass (another Jewish tradition) and were pronounced Husband and Wife. After wards, the newlyweds joined their guests for cocktails on the outside deck and enjoyed beautiful views of the East River.
Their wedding cake was a 3-tier vanilla frosted creation with an adorable cake topper of a couple kissing under the moon. The Bride and Groom got creative with their place cards and gifted each guests with a small bottle of Hot Sauce to spice things up!
Each table was decorated with small vases of fresh flowers and more candles for the centerpieces. The DJ got the party started and the reception went well into the night with fun dancing and funny well wishes from family and friends.
We think their photos and video came out great and were honored to be a part of it all. We wish them a lifetime of happiness!
