All the way from Puerto Rico, this adorable couple, Anabel & Licely came to the Big Apple for a destination wedding on a Yacht! In true NY style, their big day was full of iconic city locations like Times Square, Chelsea Piers and The Brooklyn Bridge. They exchanged vows in the shadow of Lady Liberty herself and partied the night away with their closes family and friends. Our photography and video team had a blasts with this fun pair and were honored to be a part of it. Check it out!
Anabel & Licely chose our popular photography and video cinematography package to make sure they received full coverage for their big day. They wanted candid yet intimate wedding photos and video to really reflect the laid back and fun nature of their relationship.
Our team started with the brides at the Westin New York Times Square. Smack dead in the heart of Times Square, it doesn’t get more “New York” than this! This luxury hotel offers amazing views, modern rooms and of course enough entertainment and dining nearby to make your head spin!
They got ready together and wore beautiful white silk pant suits (perfect for a day on a Yacht!) and joined their family and friends for portraits in Times Square. Afterwards they headed over to Chelsea Piers for some time alone before boarding the Manhattan Elite, one of the yachts available for charter through Prestige Yachts! Running late is not an option when your wedding is taking place on a boat so our team was sure to help the ladies stick to the timeline!
The yacht departed at sunset and the beautiful same sex couple exchanged vows in a romantic Spanish ceremony near the Statue of Liberty. Cocktail hour took place on the deck of the boat and offered all the guests amazing views of the Hudson River.
This group sure knows how to party and the DJ kept the reception going well into the night! Their wedding video is full of touching well wishes from their guests and our photographers captured their love story perfectly!
We were honored to be a part of this destination wedding right in our back yards and wish them the many years of happiness!
