Central Park Elopement
One of the main concerns our couples have when researching how to elope in NYC in the fall and winter is what to do in case of rain or snow. Fortunately, Helen and Wayne did not have this issue however, there are several Central Park ceremony locations to choose from that offer shelter including Bethesda Terrace and Fountain. This historic location (it was one of the first structures built in Central Park) offers breathtaking architectural detailing that include two grand staircases, granite steps, dramatic archways and a tiled ceiling (sourced from England!) Our elopement photographers love capturing wedding photos at Bethesda Terrace and Fountain and often recommend this location to couples planning an NYC elopement!
Our friend and top NYC officiant, Rev. Samora, performed the elopement ceremony for the gorgeous bride and groom with the 26-foot Bethesda Fountain as their backdrop! The groom looked great in a blue suit and the bride’s winter wedding dress was beautiful! (we love the fur coat!). After being pronounced Husband and Wife the newlyweds took family photos before taking a romantic stroll over to Gapstow Bridge where the newlyweds ended their elopement photo session.
