Nicole and Maarten
“….From the first moment we met our photographer and videographer we felt really comfortable. They knew what they were doing, We were briefed very well by Stephanie (our contact person at Le Image) and listened to suggestions. They were flexible in the changes we wanted to make during the day and delivered a high-quality product within the short time frame we had. At our party in the Netherlands, only 2.5 weeks after the wedding, we showed the video trailer to 150 friends and family. Everyone was raving about the video – they loved it. And people think we look like models in the pictures- they’re great! Le Image is the perfect company to cover the most special day of your life. “
Our all inclusive elopement packages are very popular amongst international couples who want to work with local experienced vendors in NYC. Our team of experts is versed in the requirements and laws for getting hitched in NYC and assist couples every step of the way (we can even recommend some great dinner spots for under 20 bucks a head!) So when we heard from Netherland natives, Nicole and Marteen, we jumped at the opportunity to be a part of their big day!
Both globetrotters with an impressive collection of passport stamps, this ridiculously good-looking couple (we promise this isn’t a staged shoot with hired models!) have traveled to many countries together throughout their relationship and chose the great city of New York as the perfect place to become husband and wife!
Our team of photographers and videographers started with Nicole and Marteen as they prepped for their big day at the 3-star boutique SoHotel on Broome Street. This eclectically decorated hotel has been around since the 1800’s and offers guests a unique choice of rooms that feature bricked walls, comfy beds and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Nicole was stunning in a white strapless gown complimented with by an embroidered veil while Marteen looked dapper in a royal blue suit paired perfectly with a gold vest and rose boutonniere.
They planned an intimate affair of about 20 guests and really wanted to incorporate the “New York Feel” into their wedding photography and video. ..And what’s more NY than a rooftop elopement ceremony that offers views of One World Trade and graffiti-ridden fire escapes at the same time!
Larissa of Weddings by Larissa officiated the beautiful bilingual ceremony at Penthouse Six in Soho while their closest family and friends cheered them on! (even if you aren’t fluent in Dutch you can tell these two are saying something uber-romantic!) The beautiful rooftop is part of The Lofts at Prince and offers clients the choice of three distinct spaces for use in the culture-saturated heart of Soho. It’s convenient to public transportation and really affordable in comparison to other NYC wedding venues.
We had a blast working with this amazing couple and wish them the best of luck!
