NYC Rooftop Wedding
England is famous for a variety of reasons, The Royal Family, Big Ben, and don’t forget those amazing BBC documentaries! Nevertheless, many UK couples choose to head to this side of the water and elope NYC style!
New York City offers hundreds (if not thousands) of amazing hotels, restaurants, and shopping and entertainment options. You can elope in Central Park, have dinner on a rooftop overlooking the city and then take a horse and carriage ride to a Broadway show! (WICKED has gotten great reviews) It’s no wonder so many couples are choosing to travel here for an all-inclusive wedding and honeymoon experience in one. Brides still want the dress, the flowers, beautiful ceremony location and amazing wedding photos just without the fuss of coordinating guest and family schedules. More and more couples tell us that they love being able to just concentrate on one another and not the timeline for the day. Fay & Marv were thrilled with their choice to get married at the luxurious Nomad Hotel in the heart of midtown on Broadway and 28th. The hotel’s Capula Suite is situated indoors on the rooftop and offers a private space for small ceremonies and events.
Fay wore a beautiful Sage tulle wedding dress with flattering beading down the neckline while Marv sported a grey twill 3-piece suit complimented with a white rose. The bride’s bouquet was an assortment of pink and ivory roses that went perfectly with her dress! After getting ready the couple headed up to the rooftop and braved the snow for their intimate elopement ceremony officiated by Chaplain Mary Beaty. (be sure to check out our all inclusive elopement packages that include a NY State registered officant)
They had a romantic candle lit ceremony and exchanged personally written vows. Afterwards the newlyweds took portraits on the rooftop and toasted to their future before heading out for a fun night in the city! This was the perfect destination wedding and our photographers were honored to be a part of it.
