Brooklyn Bridge Park Engagement
Sarah & Dustin live and work in New York but plan to get married in Sarah’s home state of Florida. The cute couple contacted us the weekend after their engagement and needed photos ASAP to send out save the dates for their wedding a few months away. They wanted romantic and natural photos on the Brooklyn Bridge and in the Dumbo area.
Unseasonably warm for February, the weather was perfect and provided great natural lighting for their outdoors shoot. The couple chose our affordable 2-hour engagement package so they could change outfits and visit several of their favorite places throughout Dumbo.
Both lovers of photography and the arts, the soon to be Bride is a musical theatre actress (keep an eye open for her on Broadway!) and her groom, Dustin, is in his gap year about to start medical school. They have a very bright (and loved filled) future ahead of them!
After some fun photos on the Bridge, Sarah and Dan freshened up and shared a cup of Joe at one of our favorite coffee shops, Brooklyn Roasting Company. If you are a coffee lover (like me!) And happen to be in the Brooklyn area, be sure to check them out! They source from all over the world and support Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance, and Organic certified and sustainable coffees. Not to mention their café is decorated with an eclectic collection of books, decor and comfy furniture for you to enjoy your Macchiato!
After catching up on the latest Broadway musicals and cutting edge medical developments (this coffee shop may give Barnes and Noble a run for their money!) the pair headed over to Jane’s Carousel in Brooklyn Bridge Park for more formal photos (check out that sunset!) Our team was honored and excited to be able to work with this amazing couple, and we wish them all the best!
