Brooklyn Museum Engagement
We have to admit, since most of our photographers and videographers are from Brooklyn we may be a bit bias…. but can you blame us? Brooklyn is quickly becoming the go to borough for New Yorkers seeking unique wedding venues, amazing engagement shoot locations or for just catching up with friends at a local pub/flower shop (yes it exist!) Whatever your reason for staying on this side of the water, Brooklyn is sure to deliver! Check out Brooklyn Museum engagement!
Cassandra and Zac found our studio by recommendation of their wedding venue, Bacchus Bistro and Bar. Located on Atlantic Avenue, the downtown venue offers a private outdoor space for your ceremony and amazing French cuisine. They added an engagement shoot to their wedding photography package to get some practice in with their photographer before the big day. The adorable couple lives in Brooklyn and wanted to keep their engagement shoot local and since it was still pretty cold outside they chose the Brooklyn Museum engagement and we think their photos turned out great!
The museum is easily accessible from the subway (2 & 3 trains) and offers diverse backdrops for your engagement photos including international art, bronze sculptures and period rooms with installations from the 19th century. Museums engagement shoots are always a great idea anytime of the year and most of the major NYC museums allow access for a small donation!
Our photographer captured some great photos of the pair and utilized the beautiful natural lighting in the museum to add some dramatic elements to their engagement photos. We had a great time working with the couple and can’t wait to be a part of their big day!
