Brooklyn Heights Promenade Engagement
Claudia & Connor reached out to our studio seeking an affordable wedding photography package for their upcoming celebration at The Greenpoint Loft after finding us on the preferred vendor list for the Brooklyn rooftop wedding venue! Our Brooklyn wedding photographers love capturing weddings at The Greenpoint Loft and can’t wait to celebrate with the adorable pair.
Their engagement shoot was a great opportunity to chat more about the big day and get adorable shots for their save the dates. The Brooklyn Heights and Carroll Garden neighborhood provided the perfect backdrop for Claudia and Connor’s engagement photos which included shots at the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and a romantic stroll in the residential area of Carroll Gardens (check out the adorable pumpkin shots!).
The chemistry between these two is undeniable and prompted our team to find out more about their love story; which could seriously be the perfect script for a romantic comedy! Keep reading to find out more about how these two connected, fell in love and are making their way to the altar!
Claudia & Connor grew up only a short drive from one another in their respective central New Jersey hometowns, but it took years, and one very accurate dating app, to finally connect Claudia and Connor!
On a long drive home to visit family (and to see his nephew’s soccer game), Connor was stuck in traffic on the NJ Turnpike when the geo-fence of bumble presented Claudia’s dating profile, which was rather familiar to Connor. Claudia, on the other hand, innocently swiped right on a handsome face and a great smile, not knowing the hometown connection they shared.
Claudia (true to character) immediately sent a photo of this adorable, blue-eyed-guy to her older sister, Lisa, who, upon receiving this text, was overjoyed. As it turns out, while Claudia did not know of Connor, Lisa certainly did because their circles of friends had overlapped over the years! Luckily, the reputation was clean!
Several texts, voice notes and phone calls later, Connor found himself, once again, making the trip south from Boston- but this time it was to meet Claudia (and her beloved dog, Poppy, of course). A semi-residency at the Brooklyn Marriott for Connor, and the rest, you might say, is history!
For Connor and Claudia, the wedding process has been quite stress-free! They both feel that the short timeline from the engagement to walking down the aisle (six months, to be exact) has given them the perfect amount of time to plan, yet not dwell on the details.
Connor is most looking forward to seeing Claudia all dolled up, as well as testing the limits of his tuxedo on the dance floor, Claudia can’t wait to celebrate this awesome love with her nearest and dearest!
