Fort Greene Engagement
Fort Greene is known for intimate tree-lined blocks of brownstones and historic brick row houses. Our photographer started with the happy couple as they took a stroll through the neighborhood and stopped for photos on the steps of some of the beautiful homes. The future Bride and Groom dressed in warm fall colors (how cute are those suede boots!) that coordinated well with the clay colored steps of the brownstones and intricate black iron staircases. Whether you enjoy reading or listening to music together, we always suggest incorporating personal elements into your engagement shoot to make it special.
After hopping in a taxi, Ahbra and Andrew also stopped by Fort Greene Park (the borough’s first official park). The conservancy offers 30-acres of manicured lawns and is a nice alternative to bigger (and more crowded) Prospect Park which is also popular for engagement shoots.
They finished up with romantic portraits under the trees and on the stairs of the park. We had a great time capturing their session and can’t wait for their big day!
