Central Park Engagement
Nicole and Joseph have great chemistry and as you can see in their Central Park engagement photos, the camera absolutely loved them! The adorable couple hired our NYC wedding photographers for their upcoming wedding at The Vanderbilt at South Beach and needed some fun photos for their save the dates. Nicole and Joseph had not one, not two, but THREE outfit changes and we personally think it was a genius!
One of the many benefits of having your engagement photo session in Central Park (besides plenty of bathroom access for outfit changes) are the diverse backdrops within the urban park. Our photographer started with the pair at Bow Bridge (also a popular elopement location in Central Park) for a romantic & classy look where Nicole wore a gorgeous satin wrap dress and her future groom sported a wool blazer and sleek black slacks.
After fun photos under Bethesda Terrace (famous for it’s beautiful architecture and perfect acoustics), the couple changed into their next look, denim and linen! For this part of the shoot our photographer took the couple to Gapstow Bridge (another popular engagement photo location in Central Park) where we caught candid shots while the two flirted in between poses (aren’t candids the best?!)
For the finale, Nicole and Joseph changed into customized T-shirts with their wedding date and the phrase “You are my lobster” printed on it! (referenced from the popular show Friends) After a few more engagement photos in the shadow of Gapstow Bridge, the couple wrapped up in a blanket and cuddled together on the rocks for a champagne toast!
Our NYC engagement photographer had a great time capturing Nicole and Joseph’s Central Park engagement shoot! If you want to see more of this adorable pair, be sure to check out their wedding photos in the link below, which also included a few outfit changes, lots of flirting.. and yes, champagne !
