Prospect Park Engagement
Brooklyn is the most populous of New York Cities 5 boroughs, with about 2.6 million residents! (Our super cool Industry City photo studio is proud to be a part of that) The top 5 attractions are The Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Museum, Coney Island, McCarren Park and of course Prospect Park; so our photographers we were not surprised when Lana & Utku chose to do their engagement shoot there.
We have had the pleasure of shooting several engagements and weddings at this 585-acre space. The picnic and boathouse offer catering for events and a perfect setting for those quircky wedding photos everyone loves to put on Pinterest (you know the ones of the wedding party staring at the bride and groom kiss with a surprised look on their face?… yeah those..) The park has 5 archways (great for getting out of the hot sun in the summer) bridges, ponds and even waterfalls (you might just forget you are in Brooklyn!)
November was pleasantly warm this past fall and the future newlyweds were able to dress lightly in a suede blazer, jeans and cute peach dress with pumps (am I the only one impressed with Lana’s tree and rock climbing skills? ) Their adorable cocker spaniel got in on the fun and really enjoyed the fallen leaves. Lana & Utka plan to continue the outdoor theme and marry at the Bronx Zoo in May. They chose our popular cinematography style wedding package to capture every special moment.
It’s obvious these two are in love and very excited about starting their new lives together and our team is honored to be a part of it!
