Glen Island Harbour Club Wedding
Our wedding photography and video team had an amazing time working with Alana and Gabe for their wedding at Glen Island Harbor Club. Everything about the day was perfect! The weather was gorgeous, the venue; stunning and of course the love between the Bride and Groom was felt by everyone in attendance! Keep reading to find out more about each part of Alana and Gabe’s wedding celebration and be sure to check out Glen Island Harbor Club’s website to find out more about this beautiful wedding venue that is less than an hour drive from Manhattan!
Getting ready for the big day!
Our team started with Alana as she got ready with her bridesmaids in the Bridal Suite at Glen Island Harbor Club. Our photography and video team arrived after hair and makeup was done and started with detail shots of her wedding gown, fun photos of the Bride hanging out with the girls in their robes and portraits of the gorgeous bride as she got ready to see Gabe! (he was in a separate room getting ready with the groomsmen)
First Look Bride and Groom Photos & Wedding Party fun!
Our photographer and video team wanted to take advantage of the beautiful weather and stunning Harbor view for their first look wedding photos. The pair met on the waterfront for a romantic first look (be sure to check out their wedding trailer to see it live!) and spent some intimate time strolling the island before the wedding party joined them. Once the crew arrived our photographer captured fun wedding party photos as the guys and girls got the couple hyped up for the main event!
Jewish Wedding Ceremony
Our team has had the honor of capturing tons of Jewish wedding ceremonies and are familiar with many of the beautiful traditions. Alana and Gabe’s Jewish wedding ceremony included several Jewish wedding traditions including the Ketubah signing , the recitation of betrothal in Hebrew and standing under a Chuppah to symbolize the new home being created between the Bride and Groom. And no Jewish wedding ceremony is complete without the widely recognized glass breaking and Mazel Tov proclamation!
Waterfront Cocktail Hour & Reception
After the happy couple was announced, husband and wife, their family and friends enjoyed cocktails on the waterfront while the staff at Glen Island Harbor Club prepared the reception. Their reception included beautiful speeches from the couples friends and family, guest photos with nostalgic polaroid cameras and of course a Hora Dance (another fun Jewish wedding tradition where the couple is lifted into the air on chairs).
All in all, Alana and Gabe’s wedding at Glen Island Harbor Club was beautiful and our team was honored to be a part of it. We wish the happy newlyweds a lifetime of happiness and love!
