Glen Island Harbor Club Wedding
The autumn wedding of Olga and Max at the beautiful Glen Island Harbor Club in New Rochelle, NY, is by far one of the most romantic weddings we have shot yet! The historically rich venue, formally a casino and summer resort, underwent a $10 million dollar renovation to become Westchester’s premier banquet facility. Situated on a private 105-acre island, the wedding venue is surrounded by a crescent shaped beach, arched walkways, majestic views of the harbor and even castles, built in the late 19th century!
The adorable couple chose our most popular cinematography packages that include 2 photographers to make sure every beautiful moment was captured. Our team started with the engaged pair at their separate locations as they prepared for the big day. The bride even got in a quick work out with her bridesmaids before the ceremony (talk about dedication!). She opted for a strapless lace wedding dress with long satin gloves and romantic loose bun pulled back to compliment her natural beauty. She topped it off with an intricate diamond necklace and tulle veil that looked great on her!
Her groom, Max, was handsome in a black three-piece tuxedo and bowtie. He and his groomsmen enjoyed a few laughs (and a few drinks) in the limo before heading over to Glen Island Harbor Club.
The couple wanted to experience their first look privately and enjoyed an intimate walk throughout the grounds. The weather was perfect and their wedding party joined in for some fun portraits. They even brought along a boutique of red balloons to symbolize prosperity, happiness and long life to the happy couple.
Being of Jewish heritage, the couple became husband and wife under a birch Chuppah draped in Hydrangea bouquets and hanging candles. The elegant décor of the Glen Island Harbor Club ballroom set the tone for the reception. The live band (complete with a rocking saxophone player) kept the party going strong.
Olga and Max added in personal touches, like a custom bicycle cake topper (remember riding on the handle bars when you were a kid?!) a wooden personalized card box, and baskets full of flip flops for tired feet (genius idea!) to make their wedding a true reflection of their love story.
Our team had a blast shooting this beautiful wedding and we are honored to have them join the Le Image family! Congrats Olga & Max!
