Central Park Elopement
Weddings are a ton of fun to plan and to attend. Picking out linens for the reception tables, cake tasting, tuxedo’s and of course the honeymoon! But ultimately the whole point of a wedding is to celebrate the beginning of a marriage. Someone to grow old with, share memories with and enjoy a long life together. There is an old saying that “Anything worth having is worth working for” and marriage is no exception! You and your spouse will create many beautiful memories but you might be surprised to find out that a lot of what you believe about marriage is more fiction than fact.
All you need is love: On your wedding day you are probably filled with the most love you’ve ever felt in your life. You are marrying your best friend, most loyal confidante and soul mate. While love is certainty the most important ingredient for a successful marriage, be sure to mix in a few doses of respect, tolerance and patience throughout the years.
Your partner should know how you feel and what you need: Ok, we know the ladies are usually the most guilty of expecting their guy to not only anticipate our feelings but also provide exactly what we need to feel better. But truth be told, a successful marriage takes a lot of communication. So be sure to speak up about your needs and desires with your partner.
Marriage is about making each other happy: While your partner’s smile will probably fill your heart with flutters, keep in mind that happiness starts on the inside. Don’t look to your partner to make you happy. Studies show that general happiness increases when you do positive things for others. So don’t forget to do special things for each other throughout the years to keep the happiness meter on high!
Ten years strong, Paul and Brian know a thing or two about what it takes to create a happy and long lasting relationship. These handsome grooms have seen each other through ups and downs and fell deeply in love in the process.
They chose our all-inclusive elopement package with photo and video to commemorate their big day. Our photography and video team started with the pair, as they got ready together at the JW Marriott Essex House on Central Park West. Their friends joined them for a celebratory toast before heading out for Central Park.
Fittingly, the grooms took their vows in Shakespeare Garden on the anniversary of the poet’s birth. The garden is the perfect choice for hopeless romantics who want an outdoor ceremony in a lush garden setting. As Shakespeare once said “Who ever loved that loved not at first sight”, So did Paul feel about his soul mate, counting the first time they met eyes as one of the most memorable in his life. The two were announced married and spent some time along strolling through Central Park for portraits after their ceremony.
Afterwards everyone headed to Marea, a high-end Italian seafood Restaurant where the newlyweds hosted their reception. Their guests enjoyed customized favors and kisses from the happy pair!
We were honored to provide this amazing couple with beautiful photography and a wedding trailer to enjoy for many years to come!
We wish them a lifetime of happiness
