Montauk Same Sex Wedding
Montauk, Long Island is home to an array of beautiful wedding venues. Getting hitched on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean is probably one of the most romantic ways to marry in New York! Our photography team has had the pleasure of shooting at several of the Montauk and Hampton venues before and it’s always a pleasure !
Brenda and Rachel contacted our studio seeking a custom photography package for their big day. The adorable same sex couple planned to host their event in Long Island in the fall and marry on the water. We started with the Brenda as she got ready in a quaint cottage not far from the venue. Fittingly so the theme for their big day was ocean related and we loved the the beach inspired invitations, save the dates and chocolate anchor favors provided for the guest!
The beautiful Bride wore a strapless gown with sweetheart neckline that fit her figure perfectly! The dress cascaded into a long train and also featured beautiful embroidering on the bodice. Brenda wore her hair in an up do style with a long sheer veil. Rachel awaited her future wife at the venue for their first look.
She was picture ready in a custom wedding pant suit with satin blue lapels and matching ascot tie. The soon to be newlyweds shared a champagne toast on the terrace of the venue before heading over to Lake Montauk for a few romantic portraits on the beach.
Their outdoor ceremony was beautiful! Brenda’s dad walked her down the aisle as Rachel awaited with her wedding party. Both brides carried a bouquet of white flowers accented with blue ribbons and greenery. The weather was perfect and they exchanged a few laughs, tears of joy and personalized vows and were announced married before their friends and family.
The indoor reception room featured large windows with beautiful views of the bay. The tables were decorated with fresh flowers and the newlyweds hung childhood photos of themselves for their guests to enjoy. Brenda and Rachel got the party started with their first dance and ended the day with the cutting of their 3-tier coconut cake. Everyone had a great time and we were truly honored to be a part of this Long Island wedding.
We wish them a lifetime of happiness!
