Tribeca Rooftop Wedding
Although there are several venues in Brooklyn that offer rooftop space for wedding photos, our beloved borough only has one wedding venue that currently has a rooftop option for ceremonies. Fortunately, for couples seeking a ceremony space high above the bustling streets of Manhattan, there are several options to choose from. Jacqueline and Michael chose the Tribeca Rooftop wedding type on Desbrosses Street in lower Manhattan to host their big day. When they contacted our studio they had already chosen their wedding photographer and were in need of a cinematography style videographer. We suggested our video trailer option, a 3-5 minute highlight reel. The final video is the perfect representation of the best moments of your wedding day.
Their video starts with footage of special details like the personalized name sign on the entrance of the venue and cuts to the “gemstone escort cards” and wedding bands. A touching speech from the father of the bride sets the tone for the film as the beautiful décor in the reception room leads to Jackie’s walk down the aisle. Thanks to the superior audio quality of our cinematography option, you are able to hear their personalized vows clearly in spite of the wind (an unfortunate problem with outdoor ceremonies)
After being pronounced married, the guests enjoyed appetizers on the rooftop, which featured glass fireplaces to keep everyone warm and create a romantic ambiance. At the reception the best man (who is also the groom’s brother) offered funny memories about Michael’s sense of direction (or lack thereof) and offered Jackie a leash to keep up with him on their honeymoon. Needless to say their wedding guests were a funny bunch and really knew how to party! We were honored to capture such a beautiful celebration and wish the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness!
