Jericho Terrace Wedding
Le Image had the pleasure of filming New York Couple, Vanesa and Hussein’s wedding ceremony and reception. Our wedding videographer starts the filming by capturing Vanesa and Hussein’s last moments as being legally single individuals. The excitement is evident on their face as they each say a special message for their fiancé before walking down the aisle. Married at the Jericho Terrace Wedding Venue, the couple included several cultural traditions in their wedding. Although we are a New York wedding photography studio, we feel like we traveled the world with this fabulous and cultural wedding!
The bride honored her Indian heritage by having Mehndi painted onto the bottoms of her palms. Mehndi is an Indian wedding tradition which uses temporary skin decoration, or, henna, on special Hindu occasions, like a wedding or festival. Our New York wedding videographers caught a great moment with the flustered groom putting the ring on his beloved before repeating the lines “Vanesa, take this ring”. During this funny moment, you can really take a great look at the beautiful designs on the bride’s hands.
The wedding reception was a blast! Many of the guests dressed in traditional saris, a traditional Indian clothing item, and danced the night away to some fantastic Bhagra music. Our wedding photographers caught some great footage of the wedding guests dancing in a frenzy on the dance floor. Bhagra wasn’t the only cultural music playing at the reception. The wedding reception also featured some Spanish music with plenty of party guests salsa dancing the night away. One of the best things about being a New York Wedding photographer is being exposed to so many different cultures and experiencing all their different traditions at a wedding. Wedding photography is always an interesting and rewarding experience but we adore weddings like these where we can learn so much about other cultures and have fun while doing it. Vanesa and Hussein made such a lovely couple we are so honored they chose us to film their special day. Congratulations!
